Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderfully, blessed Easter!!!! As we move deeper into the spring season things will begin moving fast as we start gearing up for graduation and the summer break.
We have a few things we need to remember this month. One is the deacon sponsored Fish Fry on Saturday, April 9, beginning at 11:00am. If you are working you need to be here at 10:00am to begin setting up. Another event we will have this month is the Cake Auction which will be Sunday, April 24, at 6:00pm (during the evening service). I am praying that everyone will come out and support our youth at these two events.
We are continuing through the book of John on Wednesday nights. It is my prayer that God will continue to teach us His truth through this book. If you haven’t had an opportunity to come and be part of what we are doing on Wednesday night please feel free to come and see what we are doing.
On Sunday nights we will be continuing with our study on how to share our faith. I am very excited about how things are going and know that God will bless our efforts in this regard. This study can be started at any time so if you would like to learn more about how to share your faith please come and sit in for a Sunday evening, at 6:00pm.
Our Sunday morning Bible study we are still plugging our way through the Bible. I know that each of us can grow from taking a deeper look into God’s word, so I would like to encourage each of you to come and see what God will teach you through this study. I would also like to encourage each of you as you grow increasingly busier to continue to read your Bible. I leave you with this verse from Psalm 119:16 “I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.”
